These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Chhavi Art website and the purchase of original artworks and art lesson bookings from Chhavi Art ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. By using this website, purchasing an artwork, or booking a lesson, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
We offer the following through this website:
All prices displayed are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice, but any price change will not affect orders already confirmed.
Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and other major credit and debit cards. We do not store your payment card details. Full payment is required at the time of purchase or booking confirmation.
For bespoke commissions, a deposit of 50% is required upon agreement, with the balance payable prior to delivery.
We offer free shipping on all original artwork orders within the United Kingdom. Artworks are packaged with professional art materials to ensure safe transit. We aim to despatch within 5-7 working days of payment confirmation.
International shipping is available upon request and will be quoted separately. We are not responsible for import duties, customs charges, or local taxes that may apply in the destination country.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. We recommend you inspect your order upon receipt and report any damage within 48 hours.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery and return the item for a full refund, provided the artwork is returned in its original condition and packaging. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or not as described.
Bespoke and personalised commissions are exempt from the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, unless they are faulty.

Lesson bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Sessions are offered on Saturdays and Sundays only, subject to availability. All materials, tools, and light refreshments are included in the session fee.
Cancellation by you: cancellations made more than 7 days before the session will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the session date will be offered a rescheduled date but are not entitled to a cash refund, unless we are unable to offer an alternative date within 30 days.
Cancellation by us: in the unlikely event that we must cancel a session, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook at no extra charge.
All artworks created by Chhavi remain the intellectual property of Chhavi Art. Purchase of a physical artwork transfers ownership of that object only - it does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights, or any other intellectual property rights.
All content on this website including images, text, designs and logos are the property of Chhavi Art and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chhavi Art shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or the purchase of our products and services.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.
