A multidisciplinary artist whose practice draws on techniques gathered across continents - reimagined with a contemporary, heartfelt sensibility. Based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
Chhavi's journey with art began long before she could name it a vocation. Years of travel - workshops, studios, and master craftspeople across Europe, Asia, and beyond - taught her the language of colour, pattern, and devotion that now anchors her creative life in Leighton Buzzard.
Her practice today spans three distinct disciplines - each demanding, each deeply rewarding. In Mandala art, she finds the meditative geometry of the infinite, building three-dimensional compositions that seem to pulse with their own energy. In Thikri mirror work, she applies mirror-glass and enamel techniques refined with artisans she met on her travels, painting onto mirrored glass with gold enamel and coloured lacquer to create pieces that shimmer and shift with every passing moment.
Her fluid pour paintings represent a joyful surrender to the unpredictable - swirling acrylic pigments into landscapes of colour that no artist could fully plan or repeat. Each pour painting is a genuinely unique moment captured on canvas forever.
Jesmonite craft is her studio specialty - hand-cast trays, panels and decorative pieces marbled with terrazzo-style flecks in cream, gold and jewel tones. The cool stone surface and slow, tactile process of mixing and pouring Jesmonite is as meditative as mandala work - craft you can hold and use every day.
Now settled in Leighton Buzzard, Chhavi creates from her home studio - where global influences meet local community - and teaches weekend art sessions to both young people and adults, sharing not just technique, but the deeper joy of making something beautiful with your own hands.
Three-dimensional, textured mandalas built from layered acrylic, mirror fragments and intricate hand-painted detail. Each one a unique, meditative composition rooted in sacred geometry.
A luminous mirror-glass craft reimagined. Gold enamel and coloured lacquer applied to mirrored glass with painstaking precision, creating panels that breathe with light and movement.

A celebration of colour in motion. Acrylic pigments poured, tilted and guided into swirling compositions - each painting entirely unique and unrepeatable, capturing a single joyful moment forever.

Her studio specialty. Hand-cast trays, panels and decorative pieces marbled with terrazzo-style flecks - cool stone surfaces in cream, gold and jewel tones you can hold, display and use every day.
Art is not something I do. It is how I understand the world - the colours, the patterns, the sacred geometry of everything beautiful around us.
Chhavi works without shortcuts or stencils. Every line in a Thikri panel is drawn freehand with a fine brush. Every petal in a mandala is modelled by hand. Every pour painting is guided by eye and instinct.
This commitment to craft means that no two pieces are ever the same - and that each one carries an unmistakable human quality that machine-made art simply cannot replicate.
